Just wanted to say hello and thanks for adding me to the group. I just had the gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Greg Walton in Edmond Oklahoma. Trying to make it through this two weeks of liquids and get all of my required fluids down each day is a bit of a challenge but I am staying positive and looking forward to the end results. My pain level has not been too bad and I have been managing it mostly with Tylenol. I have been reading different threads in the forum and find them all very helpful. My starting weight was 248 and I am down to 230 as of today. Still pretty swollen and feel like I am retaining some fluid. My goal weight is 155. Thanks again for adding me to the group!

Welcome! I had my surgery on 2/15. It does get easier! I still am learning, too. I like to read about everyone's experiences, it helps.

I'd ask when you can be cleared for a lymphatic massage. Normally it is an air suit you wear and it concentrates on lymphatic pressure points. I tend to retain fluid during my menstrual period and that has been extremely helpful.

Welcome Melanie and congrats on your recent surgery. It is going to get a little easier each day. Most people do not meet their protein and liquid goals for a while. But you will get there eventually. Keep up the good work!

Welcome, keep up the fluids as best you can. It is very hard to do but so important.
