Hello everyone! I just wanted to celebrate a little regarding my recent weight loss. Due to my previous weight gain and swelling, I wasn't able to wear my wedding ring for the past year. Today, after losing almost 47 lbs, I put on my wedding ring and it fit! YAY!
I just want to say something to those who are considering this surgery. It is worth it! Yes, you will have some pain. But, my other pains are also slowly melting away. The pain in my feet from added weight no longer exists and the pain in my knees is almost gone. I feel great and I hope anyone who has struggled as much as I have will have the courage to go through with this. It is truly liberating and I am so looking forward to summer where I can go hiking with my 10 year old!

My favorite accomplishment is being able to wear a skirt without having to wear shorts underneath to prevent chub rub, chafing, and excessive sweat.
