I do think it is also because if you fill up on fluids you will not get your protein in either. I am ok with following the rules, as I want to get the most out of my sleeve. I don't miss eating and drinking together too much. I always order a water in a restaurant, have some right away, and then I am done until my 30 mins after dinner. I do not actually time it, though.

On YouTube search for WLS - No Drinking With Meals. Watch the video by "formerfatdudes". This explained it the best for me.

Sooo... I'm such a goof. I was actually 9.5 months post op not 10.5 months, which the revelation came as a huge relief to me. I have been soo hard on myself because I was thinking I was farther along and should have done better.
