One Year Surgiversary!!!!!!!

Well, a lot can change in a year. Febuary 24th 2016 I made the trip to Tijuana to have gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Jorge Maytorena and LongTermVSG. My weight was 380 pounds, and now one year later I am hovering at 240 - 245. I have been maintaining since the 8 month mark. Before surgery I was wearing size 4xl shirts and size 44 pants. Now I can comfortably wear any size xl shirts and 36 pants are a little loose. My suit size before was 60 long now it is 48 long. I am amazed at how great this experience has been. I am one of the lucky ones as I have had absolutely no adverse side effects. I am able to eat any foods I choose, with the exception of corned beef. I can eat what I would consider fairly normal portions of food. I am so thankful that I made this decision. After spending 46 years being obese actually being normal sized feels awesome.
