    Default Lchf?

Has anyone tried employing an LCHF "diet" following sleeve surgery? I have eaten this way in the past (long ago) and had good results, although I stopped and went back to my bad habits. I've obviously committed to new lifestyle having had this procedure, but following the recommendations I've received from my nutritionist and adding moderate exercise to my routine, my weight still won't budge from 233, other than a fluctuation between 231 and 235. Since my last post, I've been disciplined, cut out simple carbs and still nothing. What do you think?

I did it for a few months, but started adding carbs back once I hit goal. I was shooting for UNDER 20 net carbs/day, which is very difficult, but doable. Then I added 10 gms/day for awhile.

Now, heck, I'm just trying to stay under 100! lol Practically impossible if you eat any fruit and veggies!

Though I follow a relative low carb diet, unless you are a bodybuilder or an athlete or hit the gym every day of the week to pump iron it is not recommended long term.

Just follow your post Bariatric surgery instructions of protein first, then vegetables and small amount of other complex carbs and you will be fine.

Trying extreme diet fads is not sustainable and it will only cause you harm in the long run, it's the reason many of us are here in the first place.

I eat low carb. I focus on protein and veggies. If I want a bite of carbs, I have them. I do not actually count my carbs, though. I just try to make good choices with my protein/veggies first lifestyle. And I am assuming that when you put LCHF you mean low carb high fat, right? I don't track any of my levels. I try to make a mental note of how many grams of protein I get, though.
