The best thing about waking up to healthy new You Is that you woke up to less pain .
New life adventures you missed out on. Shopping, hanging with friends families . Doing things like walking distances....maybe take on a marathon. Just the fact you can be out side ...the house and not stuck there because you cant get up to leave..thats the best challenge ever to the new life.
My weight was 293 lost a few pounds.
Met doctor on line i was 283.
I gave up instantly sodas lost 5 lbs and then appt was made with surgeon i never met but 1 day before surgery.
His practice i drove 7 hrs to. Week later aft surgery im back home.
I have a up and down median weight of 185. Highest 200. My lowest 170...
Im a size m/l.. to l....or better yet size 11/12.
I love me no matter what...

thank you for your post! such a nice story!
I was wondering: five years post-op, how is your restriction?
Also, you weight does fluctuate up and down 30 pounds, is it just with food/season or is there other reasons like medications or less exercise.

I'm trying to picture what's coming "long term", I'm 13 months out, haven't reach my goal yet, but not far from my surgeon's prediction. And right now dealing again with an injury I can't exercise much. But before the sleeve I was also heavier during Summer and would lose weight in winter (like bears hi hi ). This year it seems it's all different..my metabolism has changed.
