    Default Surgery In New Mexico

My gastric sleeve surgery is April 7th and I'm going to Mexico I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on pain levels and how they help you manage your pain.

    Thank you

I was in the hospital for 3 days and they had me on a pain med via IV. I was worried about the same thing when I was discharged, but they give you percocet or equivalent to that and to be honest with you i was very surprised that I didn't have any acute pain discomfort when I got home.

I've had several surgeries in the past and this one was a breeze! You'll do just fine!

My surgery was in the US. I was in the hospital one night. I was sent home with liquid Vicodin. I used it like 3x the first week and that was it.

Never used pain meds once! Had shoulder discomfort, but totally manageable, walk, walk, walk! I would not worry about "the pain". Good luck and enjoy your new life!!!!

I just had it done in Juarez Mexico on Thursday. The first day was pretty rough, I was nauseous from the anathesia and pain from the gas. Day 2 100% better, day 3 felt back to normal. Getting nauseous is common for me.

It was rough, but I think it's well worth it.

I had surgery in Mexico on Feb. 3rd, 2017 and the worse pain I felt was from the gas. But, the sooner you can get up and walking the better for you! After the gas pain went away, there was just discomfort with the surgery - no "pain".
