Hi all you pro sleevers! I've been going over my post op food plan, and it says to eat a "low carb lifestyle" for the rest of my life. I have good willpower when I have to, but the thought of low carb forever seems daunting to me. I don't know if I can do that forever without having some grains and at least fruit.
My surgery isn't until April, but I want to be prepared for my life after the sleeve. Am I taking this low carb thing too literally? With the exception of overt sugar, can I resume a somewhat normal diet after 6 months to a year? Just wanted your thoughts on this. Thanks for any info or comments, my friends.
