Cool Surgery 2/28...getting a little nervous but excited at the same time!

Wuhoo...it's showtime! I can't wait to get rid of that CPAP machine, come off blood pressure medications, tie my shoe in the center, cross my legs, weigh less than my husband and not feel exhausted after walking up one flight of stairs. #thatsall

    LOL!

Congratulations, your almost there. I remember that feeling well, I had surgery exactly 1 month ago although I'm sure everyone that's had this surgery remebers it like yesterday. I ditto all those things. Its amazing how quickly your body changes has long as you follow your doctors orders. One of the most amazing things about how you loose it is the weight comes off from head to toe. I'm wearing shoes I couldn't wear for a very long time, jewelry, clothes and I'm off some meds already too. make sure you start walking as soon has you are awake from surgery. Walking will really help get rid of the gas and rid of the pounds. Also when you are started on fluids sip, sip, sip. If you get dehydrated you may not feel so good. Good Luck on Tuesday

Thanks. I just came from the store stocking up on Miralax, Milk of Magnesia and Colace...just in case. I'm packing bag now and we are headed to NY tomorrow for the day and will just stay overnight.

I'm looking at your weight loss and am soon happy for you....as well as everyone else. Keep up the good work and can't wait to post my "1 day post op" thread. LOL!

Little victories. Clasping your hands together with your fingers interlocked without effort. The first time your glasses fall off while bending because your face is so much thinner. Your butt hurting on an airplane from sitting too long, yes it is different. All of it including having to replace your entire wardrobe except your socks in under six months.
