Lightbulb My first AH-HA moment. And a happy Dance

So I am almost 6 month post op and down 93 pounds. But this is the first time I am actually feeling like I lost the weight. I still do not see the changes everyone else is seeing, I still see the chubby guy in the mirror. Everyone keeps saying OH MY GOD look at you you are half the man we used to know and stuff like that, I just smile and say thank you. BUT....................... I was in the store today with my girls and said I really like that shirt. They said then get it daddy, I said yeah right , Then it dawned on me I can SHOP IN ANY STORE I WANT!!!!!. I don't need a Big and Tall section anymore I can shop right off the racks. YIPPEE>

I still did not get the shirt, I was afraid it would not fit me in a few months and it would have been a waste of money,

I LOVE your AHA moment! I have just started to experience the same thing. Taking a size off the rack, but then grabbing the next size bigger because I didn't want to upset myself if the original size did not fit; only to find out that the smaller size DOES fit! You cannot believe the numbers you see on the scale, your head can't wrap around it.

I got for Christmas a new UnderArmor shirt, a large. My first reaction was oh come on. My mother in law always buys the wrong size for me. Then as a giggle, I put it on. It was tight but I got it on. It is for exercise but I still wont wear it for a month or two. It feels so good to put on something that would not have even gotten over my arms just months ago.
