    Default Learning Food

    Hi,
I am 5 weeks out from surgery and just hit my last stage of food where I can eat near anything. I was dying for sausage and a sandwhich! I tried a bit of sausage and my impression was that went down way too easy!!! I kept picking at it and ate way too much over the course of the day. I was hit with the realization that this is a tool and not the whole game. I can now envision how some people struggle and still eat too much. I could easily do that with my favorite foods. So early on in my new game here, I can see that I need to keep the trigger foods out of the house.

Luckily, the cold cuts (alone, no bread) did not go down well and did not taste as awesome as I remember. So,thankfully one trigger food is gone.

    Thanks for listening.

I let myself take 2 -3 bites and then wait. It's usually all I can eat till the next meal time.

Everyone has slider foods that will just slide down and you can eat a lot of. These are usually fried foods, sweets, ice creams....stuff that will turn into a sludge in your belly. But everyone is different. If the sausage went down too easy...it may be one of your slider foods and best to avoid. I would make a list of foods to avoid.
