    Angry Ravenous !!HELP!!

I am about 5 and a half months post op, down 93 pounds at this point and have stalled for the last 3 to 4 weeks losing weight. The last 3 or 4 days though I have been hungry, I mean ravenous every minute I am awake. I am drinking almost a gallon of water a day and eating 5 small meals a day. High protein low fat, no salt , and very little to no sugar at all. I can not satisfy the hunger. WHAT DO I DO????????

Just keep doing what you are doing, you are doing great!
I lost about what you lost (98 pounds) in about one year. At some point I could feel that I started to be more hungry than before. My surgeon did tell me that when we loose a lot, our body is trying to regain the weight so we get more hungry because of hormone production.
So I eat more protein but also healthy fat (nuts) to calm it down. I feel that nuts do help a lot. I do track my nut's intake because I'm trying to stay under 1200/1500 cal right now.
But when I start to feel like eating "a lot" and have sugar cravings I know that something is wrong and usually my iron is really low. I noticed it several times already because I had blood tests to confirm it.
Right now I'm taking 80mg iron per day and my level is still too low. Working on it with my docs...
Did you have a blood test recently?

I would up my protein. Hungry? Have a protein snack. A piece of low-fat string cheese, some nuts, a protein bar, a protein shake, low-fat greek yogurt. (A small handful of nuts will really fill you up.) No one says we have to be hungry, we just have to eat the right things. I always have snacks in my school bag. Sometimes I eat them, sometimes I don't. When I break out the peanuts, I have to share with my kids, and the room is a mess of shells. Sorry custodian.

My new favorite snack is these little packs with nuts, cheese, and craisins.

Quit counting calories, you don't have to do that. You are no longer on a diet my friend! Best of luck to you.

Don't stress out, look at what you accomplished so far!! 93 pounds is a lot! you are already 2/3 of the way in only six months. You need to give yourself some credit here!
But at six months, that was exactly when I had a huge deficiency on my blood test and it was fine the month before.(I had many blood test because I have anemia and D vitamin deficiency)
So wait until next week to know what's going on, but in the mean time, have some healthy fat: nut, avocado, cheese. Our brain do need fat too...and it's good to curve the appetite.
    Take care

Yup. I would definitely up the protein. I have also noticed I stall when I am not getting enough protein.
