Stitches

Had my surgery Dec 20, 2016. All is well but I dont like the mark left by the stiches. I had my surgery with Dr. Marcelo Hwenandez. Why don't they use surgical glue. It seems that these stitches are old fashioned while many patients are getting the more advanced stitching procedure. I am doing really well with no xomplications and 30 lbs of weight loss but I don't like those stitches!!

Sorry, that stinks. I didn't have stitches, just glue and I can tell the spot wont be visible for much longer. I would try some mederna

I was told by my doctor that I will have surgical glue. I was told maderma works. I also recently heard about silicone gel and patches working wonderfully. They are a tad expensive like the mederma though.

I had surgery three years ago and can no longer even see the scars from stitches. Why worry about stitches, be thrilled you are becoming smaller and healthier!
