Hello all! Thank you for sharing your experiences! This website is very exciting and helpful because your experiences help me plan and manage expectations as my surgery date gets closer. My sleeve will be done on February 14, 2017 and I am ready for the change. I've been a yo-yo dieter for over 20 years. Hi, my name is Kim and I'm thinking of March 8th or 9th! What made yo decide on your doctor, I'm still on the fence. My daughter has the sleeve in November 2016, she is great, but got sick afterwards at home and was hospitalized! She's fine but two weeks of Ivs etc, being an RN and going with her made it easier! I felt the care, nurse, people were amazing and truly good at their job! Here in the states you don't get a doctor to be there or check on you all night! They have an on call dr right there it's amazing! I'm excited to go back and get my surgery! You will have a great experience! If you have questions let me know. If really great care is what you're looking for I would research Dr Guillermo Alvarez of www.Endobariatric.com. He was not my surgeon, and while I didn't have any major complications I would HIGHLY recommend him after all of the research I've done. Also, you can watch his YouTube show which I find REALLY helpful, even post op.
