Eat something. How often are you eating? For the first several months I was sipping protein shakes or diluted juice/sports drinks all day long but still had to eat something every two hours to keep from getting lightheaded since each "meal" was only 1-2 bites.

The first few months I had the same issue, the best way to prevent it is to drink a lot (as much as possible, sometimes possible is very little) and eat every 3 hours or so. I had to carry snacks and drinks with me because going more than 4 hours between meals could make me feel sick. It will go away in a few months when you can eat a little more. No worries!

The simple tip if you're afraid the blood sugar would drop is bring along candies or sweets. They help increase the blood sugar quickly.

That has happened to be rarely on my hikes, I'll start sweating and feel like I'm trying to walk through water. Basically I feel like I hit a wall. Doctor said it is probably a blood sugar issue. (I am not diabetic.) Nutritionist recommended a protein/carb snack before working out, along with water. I think that helps.
