I remember hearing vaugely about the sleeve when i went for my consult in '09 for the band. Got vanded aug '09 and lost 134 lbs! In 3 yrs. it was great until i started throwing up,esp in my sleep! How wierd that was! Didnt thinkit was related. Thought it was from my lungs and smoking. It only happened when i smoked! Anyways it got worse. I had to have it removed after a visit to the e.r. I didnt think my insurance would cover anything else. I started regaining soooooo quickly. About 10-15 lbs a month! I recheckedvand my insurance now covered bariatric surgery. I was so relieved! So i have 4 more days of liquid diet and i get sleeved april 9th.
Im not hearing many bad things about the sleeve. I thought nausea for 3-6 months was a big pssibility but i am not seeing anyone complain of this, so thats great! Or am i wrong about the nausea?
Anyhoo....i am already a pro-sleever!
