Good Morning:
I have had sleeve surgery in March 2013 and need to get back on track. Only lost 58 pounds and now weight creeping back. I know I need to follow the specific diet, but hard at times.
I know it is hard but eating right is a big part of this. Try this to get you back on track.

Remember that this is a tool and you need to make yourself a priority.

You may have seen this already.
Good luck to you
After the Holidays I had a real hard time stop craving high sugar high fat foods. I am not advocating yo-yo or crash dieting as our sleeve should and is our number one tool to help us stay on a healthy and clean lifestyle.
I looked at both links re pouch reset neither have any scientific hard proof that it shrinks the stomach, however, I do believe in seasonal cleanses to get rid the body of toxins that have been build up in our system, and they should not last more than a few days. The other thing I noticed is that one of the links says to eat soups with noodles and the other says to stay away from white carbs altogether, which means take what you read with a grain of salt. Use your judgment.
We all often lose our way and need to get back to basics. For me it's getting back to the key moment in my life that I decided to take back my health and life. Self reflection has been a real good tool for me. Try to reflect back to the times you were losing weight, what tools did you use to stay on program? Write those down, and start there.
Here are what my tools look like:
- Log food
- Eat on a schedule
- Keep my calorie intake between 950-1100 calories.
-- Protein first, vegetables and fruits in the low glycemic and starch scale, complex grains, seeds, nuts
- Drink at least 80oz of water, and take my multivitamin
- 30-45 minutes of fast paced walking every day.
I have done a 3-day cleanse which consisted of: One day day of liquids including low carb protein shakes and bone broths with protein only. Followed by two days of soft foods including eggs, some cottage cheese, tofu, soups with protein and with low sugar vegetables.
Follow a program of high quality protein first, eat salads with low glycemic vegetables, try some sprouted lentils, quinoa or beans, eat nuts.
Keep a log of foods that may cause you to binge, find a good therapist that can help you with your eating and behavior disfunction.
You only can take responsibility.

"Today is another day to get it right!"
Hi
Im sorry if this might seem a bit harsh, but i really do not agree with the pouch reset, doing it your depriving yourself and think back to before you had your sleeve what happend when you deprived yourself....you start off with all good intentions by the end off the day your starving hungry andeat everything in site!!
I would eat little and often of healthy foods protein first thats very important as that helps fill you up,i also have protein shakes make your food look nice to eat i find veggies or salad with lot of different colours ie different colored peppers red onion etc.....keep to your small plate drink lots of water quite often we mistake hunger for thirst...log your food ...get some exercise at least 30 minutes a day minimum i walk i dont do weights as i do not enjoy doing them...so find something you like doing or your end up giving up...do not keep jumping on the scales once a week is enough ....good luck...youve got this
