My surgery is Feb 17th. End of next week I start my pre op diet. Should I track my intake for pre op and post op?
Any suggestions on best way to keep track? Any apps or just writing it down?
def use an app, cause it does all the math for you.
No need to track pre-op or post-op until you start eating soft foods, in my opinion, unless you just want to get used to using your app.
might be good to track your liquids to see how much protein you get from it and to be sure you're getting enough, but it's not necessary.

I have an avid LoseIt app for several years. I found about Fooducate app, which I love, but im so used to LoseIt.
Some folks don't track and may be successful in their journey, that's not me. I need to track. I restarted about four months pre-op, took a hiatus in December (month 7 post-op) only to regret it. I have been logging again, it takes just a few minutes after each meal.
