    Default Green Light

My surgery date is January 17 with Dr. Borland. Flying down for a weekend of R&R in New Orleans. No more beer, pizza or fried chicken??? Oh well, I have been told that nothing tastes better than thin. The pre-op diet is going ok. The final days kinda mess with your mind...anyone ever notice that?

    John

Yes. The last 3 days for me were the most difficult because my surgeon said absolutely nothing but liquids. He also said any food in the belly could cause infection if it gets in the incision. That messed with my head a lot but definitely kept me on track. I think it is also a mix of the excitement of the upcoming surgery. Good luck on your surgery John and welcome!
