Vomiting again

For a few weeks now I've been vomiting again. It's so bizarre, it's for real vomiting now unlike the first year where just tiny little bits came up. I even giggled the first time and proclaimed that I'm a real person again

But anyway, I'm almost certain that there isn't anything wrong with me even though this is happening nearly every time I eat. I think maybe I've probably begun seriously overeating lately. I'm not sure though.

About 4 weeks ago I had two cortisone shots in my shoulder, and instead of gaining weight like I did after the previous injections, I lost 4 pounds in 5 days. It freaked me out as it put me back in the underweight category. This whole past month I've been eating and eating and eating to keep my weight stable. Weight is fine now. I haven't dropped more. But this whole vomiting thing is annoying. My poor husband having to pull over on the freeway at the wave of a hand because I've got a mouth full of vomit is getting old fast. I'm going to have to start packing sick bags or figure out how to calm this finicky belly of mine.

Edit to add: there is no warning. I don't feel sick. I'm just fine then suddenly I'm throwing up out of nowhere. As soon as I'm finished. I'm perfectly fine again.

Cortisone or it's derivatives certainly did save my life several times (it's part of my asthma treatment) but at the same time it is acting like a poison on my body on many levels.
Vomiting everyday for "no reason" is a sign of something going very wrong in your GI track. Plus it's very bad for your teeth.
So far I've been lucky to "only" be sick three days post-op. And two other times but once was food poisoning and the other drinking too much water too fast so I knew why I was sick each time.
The thing is I never overeat and always have a safe quantity of food just because I'm too scared to go back where I was one year ago...always starving and eating too much, sometimes two plates per meal!
If I was vomiting every day I would be back in my surgeon's office asap. To at least have blood tests and scans on my liver and gallblader.
After weight loss surgery there's is a higher risk for stones in our gallbladder and one of the symptom is actually vomiting.

Sounds like it could be reflux! See a GI MD! I am an experienced GI RN. SEE THIS ALL THE TIME. or you could have a stricture. Do not ignore. You have no weight to lose!

I don't have a gallbladder. Had that taken out in 1999. I do have bad reflux and heartburn. I'm on prescription Protonix. I take 40mg daily. It's helped tremendously until lately. For a few weeks now I have been feeling the heartburn despite taking my medicine every morning as I have for the two years since I've had my surgery. Now here I am this morning gagging and trying to vomit just while sipping my protein shake. Ugh!
