Hello! It has been a looooong time since I've used a forum but I figure I would be involved to support and for support. Some people just don't understand the struggle of food addiction. It becomes like a drug to help you cope with every emotion and one day you realize one it's not "normal" and realize you need to change before it kills you. After years, of trying to diet, gaining, losing and gaining again... I finally found a way and the to get the sleeve. I'm tired of food controlling me and i'm ready to get my life back. No more excuses, fears or regrets.

Good luck to those of you anticipating surgery and congrats to those staying strong on on the sleeve journey!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on taking the first steps to get better. I agree food addiction is like any other addiction. It will require support to help you conquer it. Everyday is a fight. As you prepare for surgery, coming to place like this will help you stay motivated.
