is my day 1 food water intake normal?

The first time I was sleeved I took at least a hour to drink a cup of water. My most recent re-sleeve is not affected by the amount of water I drink in any way but is very sensitive to food (more so than the first time sleeve)

Grats! Sounds like you are right on track. I personally lucked out (sounds like you did also) as far as the liquids go. Within about 4-5 days post op, I did not seem to have much restriction on fluids. The protein shakes took a little while to drink, however, I was able to drink water pretty much without any restriction. It made it a lot easier to hit the marks.
