Does Surgery help reduce breast size? (weird question i know.)

Over the last few months I have noticed that my shoulder and back are experiencing much more pain than usual. Since I have gained weight in the past 4 years, I believe my chest has also gained as well as I went from a C cup on my wedding day, to now I am easily a G. I will probably discuss this with the doctors I am meeting with in January. I just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this as well.

I have lost some breast size but not a ton. It may depend on how quickly you lose weight. I am still a double D but I have had to tighten by the waist part to the lowest notch. My cups are not overflowing from my bra anymore. I would've thought at 44 lbs I would have lost more breast mass but I also have very dense tissue and less fat in my breasts. That may play a part of it.

I lost 100 pounds. Went from a DD cup to an A cup. If it weren't for needing to stuff all my loose, saggy skin somewhere, I wouldn't even need a bra.

Thanks so much for your input. I think even a little bit of loss would put ease on my shoulders and back. I am meeting a team of surgeons, nurses, nutritionists and psychologists in 2 weeks. I hope I get a lot of information and can make a choice that will hopefully effect my life positively.

Boobs are made of fat, so you should lose your boobies once you lose a significant amount of weight.

My concern is that the cause of the enlarged breasts must be solved/ removed, or my body will just continue to increase the breast size regardless of surgery. For me, breast size has been increasing over time and is not related to weight gain. I do see a direct correlation with rage and increase in breast size. The more angry I have gotten, the more I have yelled and bellowed to express the rage, the more the breasts have increased in size. I have affected my heart with the rage as well and developed pain in the heart and irregular heartbeat. Having weakened the body, I now experience immediate symptoms of irregular heartbeat and pressure on the heart when I rage. I also experience a painful jolt of adrenaline to the breasts, especially the left, as well as in the heart, arms, and sometimes even legs and abdomen. My blood vessels swell and pressure in my tissues increases, this with greater intensity in the upper body than lower. My breasts also swell up within minutes after a rage attack.

Mine have shrunk a little, but not much. I'm still a DDD, but I've gone from a 42 to a 36. I did go for a repeat breast ultrasound a few months back, and the radiologist told me that they didn't even look like the same breasts from the previous ultrasound. My chest is the last place that I lose weight, it always has been. I've been big chested since I was 12!
