    Default Averaging Macros

What is everyone averaging for macros.. I am at the 2 week mark and lost a bunch of weight the first week and now I have stalled, it has been a week and the scale hasn't moved.

I am averaging 64 oz water daily, 70 g of protein daily, less than 20 g of carbs daily, and about 40 g of fat daily.... I am concerned about my fat intake, I have been researching but can not really find a recommended intake for WLS patients...

Anyone have a recommended value from their nut / surgeon? Any info would help..

Your numbers seem to be fine. don't worry the weight will stall occasionally as your body fights to keep your winter weight on, its in our DNA. Just stick with your doctors plan and you will see results.

Look up the "three week stall." It happens to 90 percent of sleevers. Then stay off the scale for a few weeks...

The third week stall starts anytime during the second to fourth week. You may not lose any weight for several weeks. However, your body is adjusting and probably losing inches. The most important metric is how your clothing fits in the coming weeks.

Just continue to get your water and protein in. Some people track every macro, but all I ever loosely tracked was the grams of protein I consumed each day. Protein is the fire that keeps your metabolism burning.

By the way, your body needs dietary fat. In spite of all the hackneyed dietary advice out there, eating fat does not make you fat or promote weight gain. Do not get too low on the fat grams. Good luck to you.
