    Post Restriction and Weight Loss

    Hello everyone.

My name is Eli and I was sleeved on October 19th, 2016. I've been having trouble with my restriction and weight loss.

When I was on my liquid diet I never felt that restriction feeling that everyone talks about. I voiced my concern to my surgeon and nutritionist and they told me that liquid diets a bit different than solids. That when I moved onto solids I would start feeling more restricted.

Last week my nutritionist gave me the okay to eat fish, chicken, cold cuts, cheese, etc and she told met that this was when my restriction was going to come into play and to be honest I have not felt it once and this terrifies me because I do not want to over eat or under eat.

Also I've gained two pound since last week.

Can someone please give me tips or advice. I am at a lost here.

    Thanks

I didn't feel much in the liquids or in the beginning of the soft foods stage. I think as the swelling inside started going away I felt more restriction. I feel it now. I sometimes think I am eating too much but then when I look back I realize I am still not taking in very many calories. Follow the 30 minute drinking rules and don't stress and follow all the rules.

Seriously, you can eat a whole chicken breast and feel no restriction? I almost died with my first try at chicken.

I can't eat a whole chicken breast. I've never tried eating that much, but I usually serve myself 2 oz of chicken and I feel no restriction. I feel nothing at all and its kind of weird to me. I don't push myself to eat more than I was instructed.
