So I'm in my fifth week post op and tolerating soft foods well and keeping up my protein and fluids. I can eat 6 jumbo shrimp, no problem. Also Boar's Head chicken and turkey.
I have injury unflavored protein, but so far I've been able to taste it in everything and it ruins the food for me.
My question relates to seeds and skins, to be avoided at my stage. Well, I made a weight watchers shake with skim milk and threw in some frozen strawberries to jazz it up.Then pulverized it in the blender. Are the strawberry seeds really bad for me? Since I'm not eating any vegetables or fruit, I thought it would be a healthy addition. Now I'm worrying about those darn seeds!
