Just saw The Magnificent 7. Good movie if you like westerns.
Also, the popcorn and soda didn't bother my stomach ....so far, so good (a little joke from the movie).

To me, this surgery isn't an opportunity to start life anew on a permanent diet. If that worked we, and I mean none of us, would have had surgery. What we should and should not eat is, again, this is my opinion, highly dependent upon what our bodies are able to handle as well as what our nutritionist and doctor says. Part of the beauty of this blessed surgery is moderation is kind of built into us now. If your nutritionist says you can have popcorn, eat it. Just do it in moderation. As soon as we say no to this or that, that thing becomes king in our minds and we want it all the more. But, if you know that thing you desire was a problem before surgery yes, by all means, stay away like it was the plague! I won't go near cheetoes for this very reason. Basically, Do you. This is your life not all of ours. Wishing you much continued and life long success!!
I was actually asking to see if popcorn was ok physically....like, when is the sleeve ready to tolerate it. I don't think I worded my question correctly.
I have to avoid chips at all costs, mostly potato chips, but I had a little run-with Fritos last week! Lol
I don't want to be on a diet my whole life, either, however, that's what I feel like. I know it's just a mind game. Semantics. We have to call it a "healthy lifestyle", not a "diet". My brain is resisting what my sleeve is telling it. I'll get there eventually, hopefully.

While my sleeved tummy, Ty, tolerated the popcorn, it seems (without going into detail) that my intestines.....well, let's just say that "the popcorn has left the building"

Well, I went to see Birth of A Nation yesterday morning at the Alamo Drafthouse, and I didn't order popcorn!!! I had a pot of Moroccan Spice tea with a bit of honey instead. Seemed more appropriate ;-)
