    Default Nausea

I am almost 8 Weeks Post Op and I am so nauseous. I also get a pain in the middle upper part of my stomach right under my breasts? Does anyone else have this problem?

I am six weeks post op, and I have been having a HORRIBLE time with nausea, vomiting, and food getting stuck. Someone just gave me lifesaving advice, that I wish I could SCREAM from the mountain tops....try drinking warm water to relax your stomach....IT WORKS! also, I was having a very hard time getting my water down....now that I am drinking warm water, I will have NO PROBLEM.

I hope this helps!! I think it might have saved my sanity!! I am so happy now!

That is very good to know. I also have a hard time getting down all my water. I will go try warm and see if that will help me.

I have that exact same pain but I don't have the nausea. I was told by the dr that it was muscle spasms. It stayed for a few days until one night I was craving ice water. I drank a whole glass and chewed/sucked on the ice. The next morning it was much better.

I read here somewhere that someone's dr told them to shock the stomach with the ice water for the spasms. I stumbled across the solution but it did work for me. Also, if the nausea doesn't get better, maybe your dr can help with some meds.

    Hope it gets better

I get nausea if I eat or drink to fast. Also early on warm drinks helped with spasms. Heating pad helped as well. To this day I can't drink plain cold water. Makes me nauseous. Plain water has to be warm for me. But if I have something in it like a sugar free mix I can drink it cold. Strange I know.
