Default Cardio for the newly sleeved

I just got sleeved 9 days ago and Ive been doing my 10-15min walks and loving them. I just got back from my follow up appointment and asked if it would be okay to start go to the gym. My doctor told me that light cardio would be okay but not to start weight yet. So, my question is what are some help cardio routines for the newly sleeved? I was thinking of starting light 30 minute walks on the treadmill and maybe the elliptical if it feels alright.

I went back to gym today for first time. I walked a mile at 1.5 & 1% incline. It took me 39 minutes I run used 5 lb weights and did some arms. I am already seeing batwimgs and I hate that.

I'm a big fan of the elliptical. My Doc said do whatever, whenever, when I got out of surgery so don't take my ideas to seriously. Follow your Doc's advice and take it easy. I also like Dawnislas' idea of inclining the treadmill.

I enjoy bicycling... stationary or street and pool laps.

The weather is so beautiful, find a nature trail and walk. (Sorry, I'm biased.) We have quite a few state parks nearby, along with a nature sanctuary I can walk to. No way would you find me in a sweaty gym with these amazing fall colors! (We're all different, right?!? You will find me outside down to about 20 degrees, then I may go to the gym.)

I believe I started working out some 2 wks post op. I was living in Japan and did a lot of walking (maybe 1 hr total per day) to get around, so I didn't do any additional exercise. When I started adding, I think I was only able to get in maybe 15-20 minutes on the elliptical and ensure my heart rate never went above the 75% range. It's been a while, so I don't recall too clearly, but I definitely started cardio more intense than walking earlier than most - WITH MY DOC'S APPROVAL! It definitely helped my body to shed the lbs quickly!

After 2 weeks post op I started working out again. I started with either 2 miles or 30 mins min 5-6 times a week. I was told to do whatever I am comfortable with. I don't overextend myself but I also push myself
