Anyone from Sydney, Australia?

I know most people on this site are U.S. based, but I'd like to know if there were any other Aussies on here.

I'm reading some great info on here, it's been really helpful reading about others experiences, but the process of getting booked in for surgery seem to be a little bit different in the U.S. Than it is here.

I'd like to find any Aussies to ask about their experience when they were booked in. I found it difficult to find current forums for sleevers in Australia. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated

Congratulations on your journey, how are you going with it? Did you have to wait long from when you booked your surgery to the actual day of surgery? Hoping you are doing well with it all.

I'm from the greater North west Sydney area, Windsor, not that far away. I have my first consultation next Tuesday 27th September, getting excited. I'm hoping it's not too long a wait to for a surgery date, I just want to get on with it now.

Hi there. Yes I'm doing great. Had my surgery on the 9/6/16 my first consultation was 3 weeks before that. I did self pay though. I've had some up and down moments but more ups. I'm 27 kgs down and only 7 kgs to my Drs. Goal. Though 4kgs till my goal. My dr was James Chau he is based in Miranda.
