Peanut butter has about 200 calories per 2 tablespoons with only 8 grams of protein. I'd eat it very sparingly with the sleeve. Of course, avoid it altogether if it is a trigger food for you.

I personally eat the PB2 powdered peanut butter, which has 45 calories per 2 tablespoons. I mix 2 tablespoons into a cup of vanilla greek yogurt for a heavenly tasting treat that has 17 grams of protein (12 grams in the yogurt + 5 grams in the PB2).

LOVE peanut butter!! I ate it almost daily during my first year. But then it became my number one crack addiction/slider food so it's no longer allowed in my house. . But I do keep PB2 around so I can get a little "fix" every now and then.

I was never really into peanut butter, was just not raised eating it. But like our fellow sleevers, I like to use PB2 in my shakes, it does boost the protein level and gives a better taste to the shake. I do eat twice a year almond butter when I'm out of nuts, kids like it better thank peanut butter.

yay as part of an overall healthy diet in my healthy fats slot.

I use it in recipes as ingredient as well as "as peanut butter" with fruit, veg or on a carb like toast. I rotate through all natural pbutter, reduced fat Smuckers and PB2...depending on my fats for that day.

If new to you...check out other nut butters, too. I use almond butter, cashew butter and seed butters in my mix. You can also easily make your own if you own a good food pulverizer
