Any hidden costs in Mexico?

The only thing extra I paid for was a cell phone that worked in Tijuana since mine didn't work and I had no options to get reception but I did pay for my own hotel since I chose to go to the Hotel Ticuan after the first nite at the recovery hotel.

Had surgery at Long Term VSG in TJ 2999 for surgery they do charge a 3.9 % if you use credit card. There is a charge of $150.00 for meds. Everything is included ride to surgery ride to leak test and leak test is covered. ride and stay at recovery house included. we choose to stay in hotel afterwards and they took us to hotel which they had shuttle to airport. I brought $40 in tip money and I tipped all of that to drivers and a few nurses. No hidden cost. I was given compression stockings and excellent care as there was only 4 of us. One lady was by herself but with only 4 you quickly help each other out and become family
