    Question Full Liquids Stage

Now that I'm finally able to get clear liquids down in adequate amounts (all hail diluted apple juice!!) I'm starting to prepare for the full liquid stage that starts in 2 days. I definitely will be drinking premier protein shakes and hope I'll be able to get those down better than the nectar protein I've been trying to drink since I've been home from the surgery.

Any tips/ideas on what to have during the full liquid stage to mix things up a bit? Before the surgery I was a huge milk drinker, anyone have any experience adding milk back into their diet at this point?

Any other advice to make the full liquid stage a success is more than welcome!

Added unflavored protein powder to every cream soup and broth I could find. Cheesy broccoli, cream of asparagus, lobster bisque, tomato, butternut squash, strained French onion, hot and sour broth, beef, etc. Pureed and strained any that had chunks.

I was initially lactose intolerant but drank lots of lactaid. Never bothered with the almond/soy/coconut milks so many people talk about because they have no protein. I used lactaid to dilute the premier drinks as well as other protein shakes cause they all tasted to sweet and thick to me.

Used Torani syrups and PB2 to invent dozens of new shake flavors besides the same old chocolate/vanilla/strawberry.

Have you heard of Double Strength Milk? I have to follow the full liquid diet now for my pre-op diet. They want me to use the Double Strength Milk because it adds more protein. I have to use it to make cream of wheat, soups and sugar free carnation instant breakfast. All you do is mix 1 cup fat free milk with 1/3 cup carnation instant milk powder. (Fairlife milk brand costs a little more, but it does give you a few more grams of protein than other fat free milks.)
