2 days out and I'm getting a little anxious. The pre-op diet really showed me how huge of a change this is. I'm not second-guessing my decision I''m just worried about how hard this will be. Tell me it gets easier eventually??

You're experiencing the pre-surgery jitters. I got them big time too, especially at the thought of going under. It's a walk in the park -- this one. The surgery goes by in a blink of an eye, and you'll immediately start feeling and noticing the positive changes. It truly is the first day of the rest of your life. You're going to be amazed, as will everyone around you.

I had surgery 8/16 and I don't regret it. Day 2 was bad for me with nausea. I don't do well with anesthesia but other than that the surgery was smooth. I am now on puréed foods. I'm just not sure I'm eating enough. I'm not hungry at all so I eat a few bites and I'm done. Never in my life would I think that I would say those words!! Good luck. You will do great and won't regret your decision at all
