Default 2 yrs post op....pregnany complications?

    Hi, all,
I'm just over 2 years post op. and am almost 20 Weeks pregnant. I've been struggling with nausea and vomiting since the beginning of this pregnancy. At first, I thought it was related to morning sickness, but I'm beginning to think this is related to my sleeve because I vomit more frequently, especially when I eat too fast.

I don't have much of a taste for protein, so unfortunately, I've been eating a lot of carbs. As a result, I'm gaining a lot if weight but am still experiencing a lot of nausea and vomiting.

I'm meeting with my surgeon in a couple of weeks but was wondering...did any of you ladies have any pregnancy complications when you were pregnant?

Over the phone, the dr. Mentioned possibly going in a full liquid diet. I'm worried how much food I'll be able to fit in as the baby and my uterus get bigger!

I am now 16 weeks pregnant and am 1 1/2 years post op. I was diagnosed with the more extreme morning sickness when I was about 6 weeks pregnant as I could not keep anything including water down. I enjoyed IV's and stronger nausea meds but that medicine was a HUGE blessing! I was able to begin eating again the next day!
We are weaning off the medicine now and so far so good! They gave me Dycelgis (SP?) which is specific for the more extreme morning sickness and my doctor was able to provide me with samples and a coupon for if they ran out of samples and needed to write a prescription.

I wish I could help. I had my one and only baby 9 years ago TODAY! Yes, it's his birthday! I'm one and done, so I won't know what it's liked to be sleeved and pregnant. I do know that some friends have had to wear a back pack type thing with anti nausea meds that are given by IV all day. Good luck!
