So you did not experience any sort of restriction at all? You can still eat a full sized meal like a 10oz steak with veggies and baked potato? A 12" sub with chips and soda? If so, I'd say you got ripped off and the doctor never even did the surgery.

No wonder you are sideways. The sleeve can be converted to a bypass.

I would never go to a lapband - it's usually the other way around. I agree with the above - move to the mini bypass

Yes the lap band is considered a failure in the Bariatrics world since so many thousands of patients get it removed due to it slipping and hurting the stomach. If you can go to a buffet and eat a full plate of food or 2, then you didn't get the sleeve done I say you may want to get that looked at to see if your stomach is actually the size of a banana or if it's normal sized

I have to agree with everyone else. If you can still eat huge portions of food then something wasn't done right. If you can't then fault isn't in the sleeve. They operate on our bodies not our heads. Get your tummy checked out and make sure. Mini bypass may be what you need.

I am going to be blunt...you will be wasting time and money getting a lap band placed around your sleeve. However, it seems as if you've made up your mind, so go ahead and do it. However, prepare for more disappointment.

People who experience insufficient weight loss with a sleeve usually revise to a more powerful surgery such as a gastric bypass or mini bypass. However, revising to a surgery with a high failure rate such as the lap band is foolish.

    Buyer beware...

EDIT: I see you had a lap band done years ago and had success with it. Still, placing a band around a sleeve is a hideously poor idea. For a more permanent solution, conversion to a bypass would be optimal.
