I think I read somewhere here that we can't ever have popcorn after being sleeved....is that correct? If so, why?
During the first weeks it's not a good idea to have popcorn because you can't chew it hard enough, there's still hard parts that could damage your new stomach. The best is to follow your guideline. My surgeon told me at one month I could eat "everything" including nuts (which was my main concern) and even popcorn. I tried it at month two, was not really pleased. I had some at month six it felt better but I'm careful not to eat it if it's too hard. I don't think there's many things I wouldn't eat today, so far I just stay away from broccoli, cauliflower, alcohol and careful with some teas...

I'm 4.5 years out and rarely eat it but I have - I don't think I had any until maybe the 1.5 year mark
Oh and FYI I despise when people say "NEVER" on eating things - never say never and everyone is different. Maybe shouldn't for some things but never is just ridiculous. I've seen people say NEVER eat steak or NEVER eat ice cream... it all depends on how things make you feel and of course moderation. I jsut got back from Walmart getting some last minute holiday dinner items and I stopped at McDonalds for a breakfast meal and ate half of my hashbrown and half of my bacon egg and cheese biscuit and I was full... sipping on my sugar free iced coffee now
AZ Lady, I found a high protein - low sugar ice cream at BJs Wholesale this weekend. It was Sea Salt and Caramel Bar, I haven't tried it yet but it looks promising.
As to popcorn, Don't tell me I can have it because I missed it and my family loves to buy giant bags of SmartFood to taunt me with. I am sure at some point I will try it but I want to wait a bit longer.
I go to the movies JUST for the popcorn! lol
But really.....I love movie popcorn, and have had it twice since my sleeve.

No, I forget the brand but definitely not Artic Zero. I think it is this. I will update after I try it.

No, you can have popcorn when your stomach is fully healed. I was told 6 weeks, but it sounds like others here waited longer. Just ask your surgeon.

Have you tried Popcorn by now?
I buy the childs pack, is the smallest popcorn bag movie theaters have and normally give my partner the drink that comes with it. I still have not had any soda pop as of today. It takes me the whole length of the movie to eat the popcorn because I thread lightly out of fear ;-)
