New to sleeve

My name is Greg and I had gastric sleeve surgery on July 14, and was I not prepared for what came next,drinking nasty tasting protein drinks to not being able to have something that I could chew on, I know what some of you are thinking is why were you not prepared, well I really thought I was, my wife had her gastric sleeve in Feb 2016 and I saw how easy she made it look that I thought what the heck, I can do that. So for anyone thinking about doing this procedure make sure you do your homework ahead of time!

Hi Greg -
I was just sleeved on July 19 and many months of preparation still don't make it easy.
One day at a time and sometimes one hour at a time.
So thankful for the others that have given advice and that have continually said " the best thing they have ever done" gives me hope that it does get better.

Hi Greg! I have mentally prepared as much as I can and I am sure there will be obstacles but you have a whole group here ready to support you! hope it gets better!
