Waiting for a surgery date

New to the site, still waiting on my surgery date. Nervous about surgery and learning new ways of eating and nutrition. I have waivered between the gastric sleeve and gastric bypass and have decided on the sleeve. Hoping this takes care of my diabetes and hypertension. Any advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

I'm waiting for my surgery date too. I had two options in August, but that's not a good month for me as my 3rd grader starts school and has his birthday birthday. Waiting for September schedule to open up.
