New sleeve 06/27/16 Help

I feel like I am not getting enough hydration, I don"t seem to be able to drink more then 30cc every couple of hours, I have a headache and feel drugged. Any advice out there? Will it get better soon?

Oh, the first few days are a nightmare with fluids! Hang in there, it will get better, I'm 2.5 weeks out and I can get my 1.5+ litres a day but within the first week I could barely get through 0.5l it was a real struggle

Your sleeve is swollen right now. Make sure you are taking your antacids as prescribed by your doctor. Sip sip sip is the word. Things will improve.

just really be conscious of sipping every 15 minutes....it will be your job until you can easily sip and drink more. Also, in my center, SF popsicles count toward fluid and that helps many.

My dr gave me Levsin-it dissolves under the tongue and helps to relax the smooth muscles in your digestive track so you can get liquids does easier. I used it regularly during my first 7-10 days. Good Luck -
