Thanks for the reality check.
    So am I!

Even after "all the misery", I would have the sleeve surgery all over again.

I follow Dr's instructions to the letter! I don't ever want to be lost inside the fat blob that I felt like EVER AGAIN.

I'm 64 years young and feeling younger every day! I'm also aware that I've had MAJOR SURGERY and according to my Dr, it will take a year for the average person's stomach to heal.

You're welcome for the reality check!

I strongly recommend you take Ann's advice. I know someone who is going through the process to get sleeved, and her surgeon is making her wait several extra months because she had bulimia when she was younger. Even though she hasn't had binging/purging issues in over a decade, he still won't approve her until he's absolutely convinced she won't turn to the binge/purge as a coping mechanism. The reason? Binging/purging after sleeve surgery can kill you.

Please please follow up with an experienced therapist before you seriously hurt yourself.
