Still saving for gastric sleeve in Mexico

I'm saving and almost got the money but I still don't have anybody to go with , so I'm a bit scared.
I'm also 56 so I'm not a youngster and my family and a few facebook friends keep trying to talk me out of the surgery, but they don't walk in my shoes and they are all skinny. I've tried everything and I'm tired of being overweight . So I'm doing it.

I just need to know more about what to eat afterwards and can I ever eat regularly food again?☺

I didn't share with many people what I was going to do. It's nobody's business. This is about ME and what I needed to do for myself.

There are many on the forum who have gone to Mexico alone. I'm sure you'll hear positive feedback from them. Some made life-long friends.

You should get information about what to eat afterwards from your Dr. and Nutritionist.

I highly recommend watching Dr. Matthew Weiner videos on YouTube. They're full of information.

Hi Jenny, In Feb of this year I finally had enough money saved up to get my surgery in Mexico. I went alone and have no regrets. They take excellent care of you there, you really don't need anyone to go with you. hardly anyone go with someone. In the 4 months since I have done the surgery I have lost 55 pounds with 10 pounds to go. You will be fine. Good luck
