My name is Teresa and I am in the research phase of my gastric sleeve. I am looking at having it done in Mexico with Dr. Almanza. I am a little nervous, but am very excited as well. I would love to hear of anyone who has had their work done by Dr. Almanza, would you recommend him?

I had surgery from Dr. Almanza in February of this year I am about 4 months out and very pleased with the sleeve. Dr. Almanza did a great job and I have had zero complications. I suggest that you definitely take someone with you for me it was my husband, if that is not a option for you believe me you will make friends while their. I shared a hospital room with three other patients and my hotel room with one because she would have had to stay by herself and we felt it was safer for her to room with us. We really became good friends embarking on this journey together. Remember that it is in Mexico and very different from having a surgery in America as far as monitoring and privacy procedures go very old fashion is a way to describe it. My surgery was performed by Dr. Almanza and he has performed the surgery on several of my friends. We have all had good results. We are all nurses and not one of us has a complaint.

Thank you for your information!!! I am very excited!!! My pastor had it done by Dr Almanza and highly recommended him to me. I am looking at going the end of August, beginning of September. My husband Scott will be going with me.
