I am scheduled to have surgery with Hernandez on Sept 29th. I think about it every day. I am excited and yet nervous. I have talked to a couple people and they had no troubles either and are glad they did it. I have a wonderful husband that is very supportive. I hope everyone has a support person like him.

You won't be sorry. I've lost 45 lbs and it's still coming off!! The staff at the hospital and motel is very good and professional. I was well taken care of. I didn't have any problems at all. I did get a private room at the motel. The chicken broth at the restaurant is wonderful.

I'm considering as well with Dr Hernandez, but a bit scared I must say. I've seen friends with the Lapband unable to eat or drink certain foods regardless of amount, and that worries me. heaven forbid if I can never have a cold beer ever again! That would never do. Anyone a few months in with any feedback?

I am down 80lbs now as of 10/6/2016 it is a journey bumps in the road as far as eating. I cant eat like I used to and you will hurt if you over eat.. otherwise results are great

I had sleeve surgery June 15 2016 with Marcelo Hernandez. I have no complaints at all. The staff at the hospital was amazing. I felt very well taken care of. I did not have any complications. Is there some specific questions you might have? I have lost 48 lbs and 4 sizes. I couldn't be more motivated.

Was just checking to c recent reviews... someone posted a bad review of dr almanza from like 2 yrs ago, but it could have been the patient was going thru her own issues... someone else was there at the same time as this other patient and said she was a mess and he wouldn't even do the surgery on her... so it could have just been her lashing out in anger... I have read no other bad reviews... and I have done a lot of research, watched the videos of patients who have had the surgery, and have seen live surgeries....also...have u had any foul smelling urine ?? I heard that is a possiblilty... as well as breath... I understand it could b ketosis, but if u hydrate well, u shouldn't have these issues... and I know everyone is different...some ppl experience these things, some do not.. some ppl come thru with flying colors, others have a much more difficult time of it.. so I am just trying to be prepared for anything..
