Hope everyone is doing well and feeling good! I'm doing pretty darned good myself.
This is just a little story about a pesky ongoing issue with some upper right abdominal pain that i've been having for a few years. To make a long story short, after a couple of urgent care visits, a visit to the ER, x-rays, MRI's and blood work, I ended up being referred to a gastroenterologist. I had an EGD to see if my GI tract held any clues to the source of my intermittent pain since my gallbladder was removed a few years ago.
After interviewing me and reviewing all of my test results, discussing my post VSG recovery (i told him that I had it in Tj) he scheduled me for an EGD. He wanted to see if my Gi tract could hold clues to the source of my pain and he wanted to take a look at how my stomach was healing from the surgery. He didn't find anything at all. Matter of fact, he said that everything looked great, i've healed wonderfully from the surgery, and that my surgeon did a great job.
I'm still working on losing these last 20 lbs. I've started running/walking and the scale started inching down again. This stall that i have been on is maddening, but im finally moving down. So those of you fighting a stall, plateau, or whatever keep at it and don't give up! You've come way to far and been through a lot just to have this surgery. You've got this!
