Hello, my name is Danielle, I'm 29 and I live in Lockport NY... Near Buffalo. I'm hoping to be having my surgery this summer with synergy bariatrics. I've completed orientation, turned in their huge packet with my pcp's blessing, did my fasting blood work, I have my 3 week workshop scheduled starting June 1st, my psychological evaluation is June 9th, and I meet with the surgeon June 23rd. I'm hoping this moves really fast...the day I meet my surgeon is my first day of summer break. I drive school bus and am really hoping I can have the surgery while on break that way it's way more private and I don't have to take any time off of work. Well, I just thought I'd write a quick introduction...I hope everyone has a good day!

It will be here before you know it Danimarie. I was so anxious for my surgery which had to be rescheduled to a month later than originally planned due to changing surgeons and still the date came faster than I thought it would.

I'm originally from Kenmore, NY. My family owned property near Lockport on Tonawanda Creek when it was all country.
I hope all goes according to plan. It was important to me to keep things private, except for a chosen few family members and super close friends.

Thanks! There are several Tonawanda creeks lol. Very nice area though, I live near Lockport high school but I'm a school bus driver and do a lot of pickups over by Tonawanda creek. Being private just seems the easier route. I work with a lot of nosey people who I do my best to avoid but I'm sure someone will by down my throat asking how I lost the weight so hopefully I can say the right things to get away from the conversation.

I haven't told anyone other my oldest daughter, she's 28 and a nurse.

When people ask how I did it, I plan on saying, "no bread, rice, pasta or potatoes, lots of water, and portion control." Because really, that's not lying, it's just leaving out one detail. ��

I am happy for you. This is truly a personal decision. I also didn't tell my family until a day or two before I went to do it. I just told them this was what I wanted and I was going to do it. I am glad you are doing this while your not driving. Get your house prepared get ride of all the things you cannot eat. Start looking at protein drinks and try some so you will know what you will like. I am praying for your success.

10,000 Tonawanda Creek Road. I remember the address because I loved it so much out there. Now it's all suburbs...ICK! Now I live in a rural area again and I love it!
