How bad are the scars after laparoscopic surgery? Are they noticeable? Anyone care to share any pictures? Thanks.

My scars to me are very unattractive, but I'm only 21 days out, still in the healing phase. Many people have informed me that theirs became un-noticeable over time. You may want to look up my recent post called "Vanity". That thread has comments pertaining to your question.......

The scars aren't bad, I'm 15 months out I tried to attach a picture but I'm not sure it took.
Anyway, there very small, faded. Hard to see in my opinion. There are 2 that are more visible then the others. I'll try later or tomorrow to add a pic to my page but I do have pictures in my album that I took 10 months out and you can see that there hard to see.
I use regular lotion after a shower. They do sell scar cream that you can use I think once your fully healed.

Wow Aydensmomma you really cant see them!!! I was wondering about that myself. Did you bruise much after surgery? I was wondering about that as well. There was someone on here who was talking about how bruised they were. And by the way you look awesome.

Great pics Aydensmomma!!! You hardly see anything. My skin is darker though, so those larger ones, I'm really worried about once they're good and healed. But I'm glad to see that it doesn't look bad at all. Thanks for sharing.

the scars are no big deal and i have fair skin and tend to keyloid..meaning they really show..so i have an appendtamy scar, a gall bladder scar, some baby stretch marks and a tiny little mark that is where if got surgery..not too notceable..and it has been a year..so dont worry

2 1/2 years out and I can't even see them. Maybe if I look really, really close.
