Cool hit another goal.. 150 lbs lost

so im a little more than 8 months out and hit my 150 lbs lost goal. i dont know what my final goal will be as i dont trust BMI charts much and would rather go by health and appearance than anything else as my doctor loves where i am at now.

when i look back, at first i was losing about 20 per month average - and am now dropping about 10 per month. at times it feels slow.. just a mental thing i guess.

To keep things in perspective, you have lost more than I weigh!! 10 lbs a month is still more than people usually lose without the sleeve. You are doing awesome, and you want to stay healthy. You will get to your goal. Your body will let you know when you're done. My goal was 160 and I settled between 140 and 143. I'm very happy here and now just want to maintain. Again, awesome job!! Congrats!

Wow man..that's simply amazing. If you don't mind me asking, what was your starting weight? Just looking for a bit of perspective as I'm 3.5 months out and right around half your weight loss. Things have really slowed down a bit for me in the last couple of weeks but it looks like I might've broken through another stall finally.

    Surgery - 349

First few months I averaged 20 per month and now slowing to about 10. I also eat right and exercise about 5-10 miles per day. My idea of cheating is a homemade crepe with some fruit. And that's a special occasion.

I've been busting my ass. Not that women aren't, I think this is all based on the person. When I decided on this route, I wanted it bad enough to not look back on old habits. Sure I miss some stuff, but I enjoy my healthier self much better.

at 3.5 months i was down about 100 total and 75 since surgery. honestly looks like youre on the same pace as i am. i too felt like things had really slowed down, but if you were to track it you would see a nice pace. i really suggest doing that for everyone since you keep comparing to the monster losses that some have right after surgery. i know i lost almost 30 lbs in the 2-3 weeks following surgery.
