Head cold and Nausea

Hello everyone. I had my surgery on Dec. 8th 2015. Everything has been going as planned and I really haven't had any issues. Except for a couple of days ago I got a head cold. I am congested and have a lot of drainage. Along with the head cold, I also have very bad nausea. I could barely eat anything without wanting to throw up. I was wondering if anyone else has had this same issue and if they had found something that helped alleviate the nausea. I was thinking it might be the drainage from my cold that is irritating my stomach. I have had no nausea since the surgery.

I'm thinking it's probably the drainage that's making you nauseous. I get nauseous when I have a nasty cold too. I usually just eat soup.
If the nausea is really bad you can talk to your doctor about Zofran. I had it after surgery when I would get nauseous out of nowhere. Worked really quick.
