My NSV

So this morning I was looking in my closet and came across my red Columbia coat that's a 2x and decided to try it on, thinking it wouldn't fit, but it did! I was a size 5x (well, probably a 6x since the 5's were pretty tight) at this time last year and haven't been able to wear my jacket for the past 4 winters!
Then I discovered my size 24 jeans are loose enough to just slip them down my legs w/o having to unbutton them. I was in a super tight 28 jean So I must be a size 22 now. Sweet!
And a few hours ago I tried on my first pair of yoga pants (I've never owned a pair before) that I got as a present for Christmas and not only did they fit, but I found that I actually have a small amount of space between my thighs now. I can't even remember the last time my thighs were small enough not to rub against each other from the very top to almost down to my knees. So despite being at a heavy weight still, I'm feeling pretty darn good about myself nowadays!
And finally, my boyfriend of 6 years come this February keeps noticing small things like how he can feel my bones Lol. My hip bones, collar and shoulders, and last night he was like, "Are those your bones?!" I was laying on my back and my ribcage can be felt easily now. Pretty cool!
I'm so very glad I pushed myself to lose as much weight as possible before my surgery last year! I hope everyone else is having a great time with their sleeve

Very nice! It still feels so bizarre to me when my old clothes are so loose I can't wear them anymore. Congrats on your progress!

Thanks everyone!! I went shopping for new panties today and am down 3 sizes! One package is still too small even though it's the same size as the other package, but I'll just save it for a few months down the road

Yes this is exciting! I was looming at your stats your have lost quite a bit! And still going strong! These victories feel sooooo amazing! I cant wait untill when iam at 267-still a while away! Lol i was a le to shop at forever 21 yesterday and get a 2x as before surgery it was at the point to where inwas 3x lr nothing! And i have always had back pain and feet issues since i was a size 12 at 16 and only 220-but i noticed yesterday i could walk around two stores and not be in crying pain! congrats congrats congrats:

You'll be under 300 pounds in no time! This surgery was designed for people of our weight/bmi. We can do it! I hear ya about the feet problem! My feet still hurt when I come home from my new job, but it's because I'm on my feet for 7.5 out of the 8 hours and my fitbit says I walk 10,000 steps! Whew! I'm almost 4 months out and excited to weigh myself this coming week!

Aww thank you I appreciate that! You started out only weighing 3 more pounds than myself and you're doing great as well! I haven't been a size 10/12 since I was 10 or 12 years old lmao. I can't wait!
